From Fall 2009 fashion trends, let's jump to Spring 2010 collections that will be showcased in New York Fashion Week.
Before the fashion show kicks off, InStyle has compiled a sneak preview of the designers' collections that will be presented in the said event.
1. Herve Leger, BCBG & Max Azria - Herve Leger is inspired by "Artisan hand treatments" and BCBG is a collections of "street meets art" clothing. Meanwhile, the Max Azria collection is inspired by "movement and effortless silhouette".
2. Jason Wu - The Spring 2010 collection of Jason Wu is inspired by the character named Sally of The Nightmare Before Christmas.
3. Tommy Hilfiger - According to him, his Spring 2010 collection is inspired by the 1960s looks in California.
4. Rebecca Taylor - Her collection will include a combination of colors, prints and textures.
5. Tracy Reese - The Spring 2010 collection of Tracy Reese will add a bounce into your steps because it is insprired vy "vibrant hues and the combination of architectural shapes and easy folds on drapey materials."
6. Monique Lhuillier - Monique's collections is inspired by Massai, a group of indigenous African nomads.
7. DKNY - Donna Karan's collection is expected showcase a "floral fling".
