In the U.S., Barbie is popular with fashion collaborations. This upcoming Paris Fashion Week, Charlotte aux Fraises also known as Strawberry Shortcake will make a special appearance. For the said fashion event, she will dumped her signature floppy hat and green and white striped stockings for a custom-made wardrobe by onia Rykiel, Cacharel, Alexis Mabille and other designers.
The Strawberry Shortcake dolls will be displayed at l’Ecole de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture during Paris Fashion Week September 25-October 3. The proceeds will go to Ce Ke du Conheur, a charity that helps hospitalized children and adolescents.
