The theme of 2010 Costume Institute Gala or Met Gala is “American Woman: Fashioning A National Identity”. Therefore, I was not surprised when I saw the red carpet photos of celebrities in shades of red, white and blue. The Metropolitan Museum of Art was filled with stars in big gowns, ruffles and bling. Every one tried to wear their best and elegant dresses. However, just what the famous line says: Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, some star looked awful to me.
