The 2008 Teen Choice Awards event was aired last August 4. We have seen stars posed for the blue carpet but we have to admit that not all of them strutted stunning dresses. Some did well but there were some who totally mismatched fashion with commonsense. As photographers kept on clicking, taking shots of every angle they can get, let's find out who won the "fashion" surf boards.
Leighton Meester, aka Blair Waldorf , opted to wear a green draped cocktail dress from Lanvin Spring 2008 Grecian collection. With this selection, she stand out on the crowd of mini and maxi dresses.
Blake Lively, aka Serena van der Woodsen, sported a mini purple one-shouldered Tadashi Shoji dress that allowed her to flaunt her legs.
The Teen Choice host Miley Cyrus sparkled in her tiered sequined Moschino Cheap & Chic Spring 2008 sequined dress. I like her dress but I don't think it looked good with those boots.
The High School Musical star, Vanessa Hudgens wore a Catherine Malandrino three-toned tiered strapless dress without her wavy hair. She looked good with Zac.
I don't care if this dress was suited for 10-year old girls, but I think Aundrea Fimbres looks cute in this strapless Elsie Katz Couture Spring 2008 mini tutu dress. The dress is made of chrysanthemum brocade with rulled petticoat and hand-formed crystal beaded blossoms. And look at those shoes!
Hayden Panettiere rocked a strapless cinched-waist dark-and-light pink washed dress with a half-up half-down hairdo. She's glowing!
Lauren Conrad advertised her designs by wearing one on the 2008 Teen Choice Awards. She wore a sweetheart necklined maxi dress that is multi-coloured with blue, white, taupe and orange.

When Stephanie Meyer's fame for Twilight series hit the Philippines, I can say that I am one of the book lovers who got hooked with the series. Although I am not so happy with how the saga ended, I was still excited about the much-anticipated Twilight movie. But before Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) and Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) hit the big screen, let's take a look at the movie's fashion guide. Basing on the descriptions from the novel and considering the budget for the film, the movie's costume designer, Wendy Chuck made a lot of effort to dress the characters with a right look for the film. According to her, the characters' outfits were from Loehmann's, Nordstrom Rack, Internet outlets and local Portland shops Robert Pattinson as Edward Cullen His style is formed by a mix of American Apparel T-shirts, jackets from G-Star, H&M shirts, Chimala jeans, and A-life sneakers or vintage boots. According to Chuck, the only high-end item in the film was Edward
